Following NaSTA North’s Tech Forum’s discussion on Roku boxes and streaming devices, Luke decided to buy a Now TV box and make an LA1:TV app capable of streaming live feeds and static videos!

The app itself pulls an XML file from the web with all the available streams and files it can play. We currently have it running our live stream and a video from Roses.

The next things to do are work out how to load images into it from the net, and how to work the “back” button on the remote, because it just crashes the app!
